Stop making Session Road a Market Place.

Today, after Mass, we headed to Session Road for the Session Road in Bloom, which is part of the Panagbenga (Baguio Flower Festival). We originally planned to have lunch at Alabanza for their tasty longganisa, but it was full, so we opted for Calajo instead. ( we always support local) Taking a walk on Session Road posed a challenge, especially with my lady gaining some weight, necessitating the use of a stroller. The heat and the crowd made it tough, and we could not finish walking the entire stretch of Session Road.Walking down session road I still can hear the reading of the gospel.

I cannot help but imagine: kasanu pay nu ada ni Jesus ditoy. Mang siplet na din nay loko loko, adi pay pag da tumagtag amin et man stampede. Hahaha. In the temple, Jesus confronted the commercialization that had concealed the sacred space meant for worship and prayer. With a whip of cords, he drove out the sellers and overturned tables, proclaiming, “Stop making my Father’s house a marketplace!” This passionate act was not merely a condemnation of external practices; it was a call to purify our inner temples.

In our lives, we might come across elements that diminish the inherent sacredness within us. The distractions of worldly pursuits and materialism can hide the goodness that is inside us. Jesus’s actions challenge us to examine our hearts and clear away anything that hinders our connection with God.Sino pay udom ay inbagan padi? Hehe. Cleanse the body kanana baw adi.

So following our meal, we strolled to SM and indulged in lemon and orange drinks, believed not only to refresh but also cleanse the body.Sya ngen adi. so, as we continue on our journey, may our lives show that a heart, made pure by faith, is truly beautiful and inspiring.
